Ceramic Grater Bowls

A grater bowl is a 7 inch ceramic grater plate with a raised rim. The ring of raised teeth in the centre turns garlic and ginger into paste in seconds, and the rim keeps the paste and olive oil inside, so you can grate, season and serve a bread dip without changing dishes. Each bowl is shaped, glazed and finished by hand in Kütahya, Türkiye, in hand-painted floral and olive designs or solid speckled glazes. Pick one for your own kitchen and another to give: any 2 pieces save 10% and 3 or more save 15%. Compare every size in our ceramic grater plates range.

Good to know before you order

What size is a grater bowl?

Our grater bowls measure about 7 inches (18 cm) across, large enough for several cloves and a pour of olive oil. Exact dimensions are listed on each product page.

Grater bowl or flat grater plate?

A grater bowl has a raised rim that holds oil and paste, so you can grate, mix and serve in one dish. A flat 5 or 6 inch grater plate is smaller and easier to store if you only grate a clove or two at a time.

Can I serve from the grater bowl?

Yes. Grate garlic, add olive oil, salt and herbs and put the bowl straight on the table as a bread dipping dish. It is pretty enough to stay out on the counter.

Is a grater bowl dishwasher safe?

Yes. Rinse it right after use or put it in the dishwasher. Hand washing keeps the colours at their best. It is not suitable for the microwave.

Do the designs have to match for the bundle discount?

No. Mix any designs: 2 pieces save 10% and 3 or more save 15%, applied automatically in your cart.

How long does delivery take?

Orders ship within 1–3 business days. Delivery to the United States takes 2–5 business days with FedEx, UPS or DHL, and every order has tracking. Large decorative pieces made to order can take up to 21 business days.

Do I have to pay customs duties or import taxes?

No. For orders to the United States, Canada and the European Union we pay the duties and import taxes, so there is nothing extra to pay when your parcel arrives.

What happens if my order arrives broken?

Send us a photo of the piece and the packaging and we will send a replacement free of charge.

Can I return a piece?

Yes. You can return or exchange a piece within 14 days of delivery. Return shipping is paid by the buyer, and custom-made pieces cannot be returned.
