What is a vessel sink?
A vessel sink is a bathroom sink that sits on top of the countertop like a bowl, instead of being set into it. Because the whole basin is visible, it works as the centrepiece of the vanity, which is why hand-painted ceramic is such a popular choice for it.
What sizes do the ceramic vessel sinks come in?
Every design is made in five diameters: 10 inches (25 cm), 12 inches (30 cm), 14 inches (35 cm), 16 inches (40 cm) and 18 inches (45 cm). Compare the diameter with your countertop depth and faucet reach before you order.
What kind of faucet works with a vessel sink?
Vessel sinks sit above the countertop, so they are paired with a tall vessel faucet mounted on the counter or with a wall-mounted faucet. The spout should reach the middle of the bowl and clear the rim by a few inches.
Does the sink fit a standard drain?
Yes, each sink has a standard-size drain opening. Check the product page for the components included with that model.
How is a vessel sink installed?
A hole for the drain is cut in the countertop, the sink is set over it on a bead of silicone and the drain is tightened from below. Any plumber or contractor can do it, and professional installation is recommended.
Are handmade ceramic sinks durable enough for everyday use?
Yes. The sinks are fired ceramic with a glossy glaze, and the hand-painted design is sealed under the glaze, so it does not wear off with daily use.
How do I clean a hand-painted ceramic sink?
Use mild soap, warm water and a soft cloth. Avoid harsh abrasive cleaners.
Can I order a custom design or size?
Yes. Email us with what you have in mind. Custom pieces take longer to make and cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged.
Is there a saving for a double vanity?
Yes. Any 2 pieces in your cart save 10%, so two sinks, in the same design or two different ones, are 10% off automatically.
How long does delivery take?
Orders ship within 1–3 business days. Delivery to the United States takes 2–5 business days with FedEx, UPS or DHL, and every order has tracking. Large decorative pieces made to order can take up to 21 business days.
Do I have to pay customs duties or import taxes?
No. For orders to the United States, Canada and the European Union we pay the duties and import taxes, so there is nothing extra to pay when your parcel arrives.
What happens if my order arrives broken?
Send us a photo of the piece and the packaging and we will send a replacement free of charge.
Can I return a piece?
Yes. You can return or exchange a piece within 14 days of delivery. Return shipping is paid by the buyer, and custom-made pieces cannot be returned.
